ABOUT FOUNDATION

Speaking Art Foundation is a non-profit organization having 80G/12A certification. The Foundation is headed by Neeraj Sharma (Founder Director-SAF) a recipient of Senior Fellowship award in Photography by Expert Committee constituted by The Ministry of Culture and Dr. Ushma Sharma (Director- SAF), who has successfully balanced two distinct roles, promoting art and as a Dental Surgeon.
Main objective of SAF is to provide opportunities to artists at different levels by organizing workshops, camps, demonstrations, art talks, art competitions, performances, Art Fairs and exhibitions.
SAF provides a platform to upcoming promising artists to exhibit their talent and always have a fusion of various kinds of art. It creates an atmosphere for artists by bringing together promising artists and established artists where everyone can interact, learn and grow together, exhibit their talent and express themselves freely without any boundaries. SAF also has plans to provide financial support to deserving individual visual artists.
The aim of SAF is to bridge the gap between art admirers & artists and educate people about art and convey our message to masses through art. With a progressive and strong data base of buyers and art collectors, Speaking Art Foundation has become a trusted name among art fraternity and makes association of artists not only enjoyable but productive as well.
As committed citizens and artists by heart, Neeraj Sharma and Dr. Ushma Sharma feel an urge to contribute their mite towards social responsibility. Therefore most of the events organized by SAF are attached to a noble cause.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Mr. Neeraj Sharma

Neeraj Sharma, born 1969, New Delhi is presently based in Gurgaon. He is a focused, result oriented and progressive professional photographer who has been working actively in Art /Media Industry for more than two and half decades.He is a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Fine Arts (Graphics as specialization) from College of Arts, Chandigarh and Diploma in Video Lighting Techniques from AAFT.

He has worked on variety of subjects like Fashion, Food, Products, People, Interior, Corporate, Events, Industrial, Editorial and Travel, thus leaving nothing out of his canvas.

His works have been published in leading metropolitan newspapers and magazines in India & abroad. His experience of Motion Picture Photography has helped him enhance his skills.

After having a graceful presence and versatile experience in India, he moved a step forward and made an international presence (2008-2012) to expand his professional territory and personal learning in Dubai, UAE.

His milestones & Accolades count a Coffee Table Book named – AT HOME-ACROSS THE WORLD, Official Photographer for Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai and Bharat Rang Mahotsava organized by National School of Drama, New Delhi.

He is a recipient of Senior Fellowship award in Photography by Expert Committee constituted by The Ministry of Culture.

Ushma Sharma (Director)

Dr. Ushma Sharma, has successfully balanced two distinct roles, promoting art and as a Dental Surgeon.

Dr. Ushma Sharma is a dedicated and experienced dentist known for her precision and gentle care in treating patients.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Ushma Sharma is an avid artist. She has a deep passion for creating art, which she believes complements her dental practice by enhancing her attention to detail and creativity. Dr. Sharma's artwork ranges from painting and sketching to sculpting, often inspired by her experiences and observations in the medical field.

She conducts art therapy sessions to promote mental well-being among patients and community members.

She states- "I believe that the art of dentistry goes beyond technical skills. It requires a blend of precision, compassion, and creativity. My passion for art fuels my dedication to dental care, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to my practice. Through both dentistry and art, I strive to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Pankaj Sharma

Pankaj Sharma, born 1964, New Delhi, is a self-motivated, energized professional photographer with 29+ years of Field and Editorial leadership experience and presently based in Chandigarh. He is a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Fine Arts (Applied Art as specialization) from College of Arts, New Delhi.

He has served as: Senior Photojournalist with Gulf News (Dubai), Senior Photojournalist with XPress- a weekly Tabloid (Dubai), Staff Photographer- The Tribune (Chandigarh).

He has a vast experience working with most of the leading newspapers and news agencies such as Press Trust of India, United News of India, The Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, Deccan Herald, The Telegraph, Sunday Observer, The News International and Media Trans Asia.

To His credit are many of the International Sports Events including Sharjha Cup (U.A.E.), Thomas/Uber Cup (Kualalampur), World Cup Hockey championship (Lahore), Asian Games (Beijing), South Asian Federation Games (Colombo) and Dubai World Cup (U.A.E.). He is the First Photographer to reach and cover The Kargil War from the Punjab region.

He is a recipient of Best Coverage Award in English News Paper (U.A.E.), Best Photography Award (U.A.E.), Emirate Photography Award (U.A.E.), State Award (Chandigarh), Press Club Award (Chandigarh) and Exemplary Coverage Award for The Kargil War (Govt. of Punjab).
